Lambris Complement Training Award

The Lambris Complement Training Award, sponsored by the Lambris Family, is presented by the International Complement Society (ICS) at the biennial Complement Workshop.

Purpose

This award recognizes and supports an outstanding trainee or early-career researcher who shows exceptional promise to become a future leader in biomedical research on the complement system.

Eligibility

Research may include laboratory, clinical, epidemiological, or experimental animal studies in complement biology.
Candidates must submit an abstract to the biennial ICW Workshop.
Preference is given to nominees in trainee or mentored positions.
Nominations must be submitted by an ICS member (self-nominations are not accepted).

Nomination Requirements

• Registration for the ICW Workshop and abstract submission
• Letter of Recommendation
• Curriculum Vitae
• Extended abstract (up to 750 words) describing the nominee’s work

Award

The selected awardee will receive:

• Certificate of Award
• Honorarium of $5,000
• Recognition in the ICS Newsletter and on the ICS website
